Using Windows 10, how can I set my lock screen to include both of my monitors? I have a dual monitor wallpaper set on the lock screen and have tried looking through settings. I'm fairly new to PC building and do not know much. Thanks!

Hey DigitalHD,

Unfortunately, Windows 10 does not support Dual Monitor lock screens. 1 monitor will have the lock screen (your MAIN) but all others will remain blank until you login. However, there may be third party programs you can research to see if they work (but these would not be supported by Microsoft, so just be careful). :)

That's stupid easy in winten...
Step 1. Open the 'personalize' settings from right clicking the desktop.
Step 2. Select 'Lock Screen' on the left
Step 3. Open MS Paint.
Step 4. Create a large solid black rectangle the same size as your screen.
Step 6. Change the lock screen picture to your black rectangle.
Step 7. Save and close the window.
Step 8. Win+L and bask in your matching monitors.
You're move, microsoft...

It's good to keep it secure when your PC is idle. It's just good practice to Win+L when you get up from your machine. When I do, I want to also keep my computer's aesthetic. Thankfully, I've got a solid black scheme for my system, so the black on both monitors works well for me.

If you have a dedicated Graphics card such as a Nvidia GPU, the drivers will allow you to 'Span Displays with surround' which will allow you to have a dual screen lock screen but may change other things when using full-screen mode.
To find this setting, right click on your desktop and see if Nvidia or AMD Radeon Control Panels are on the list. From there click Configure Surround and follow the on-screen options.
If the control panel for your Graphics card isn't there, then you may not have the appropriate hardware to do this.

Solved!... kinda. At least for me anyways, lol

I'm not sure if this can apply to everyone, probably not, but I did a work around using DisplayFusion with Dual Screen Savers.. one is the image for my lock screen and the other goes to a web interface I made for my IP Cameras.. so when my computer locks they come up. When I get out of the screen saver, it just fades to my lock/login screen. That works for me but I just started using it.. took only a few minutes to get about what I wanted.

DisplaFusion Pro is pretty cool and I recommend it. The ability to load websites, videos, etc.. is pretty awesome! And I can't wait to think of other cool customization ideas to use it for..

Thanks

Also, @NoobSavant I don't get what you are trying to say.. there are no options for Dual Lock Screens or span options in Windows 10. Tried your instructions and it was a waste of time and @Colif I think it would have been a good suggestion or worth giving the Trial version of DisplayFusion a chance.. I'm glad I did from your comment and I found a workaround I'm pretty happy with.
