Whenever I turn my computer on only the primary monitor actually displays something. The other monitor is turned on and connected but no image is coming from it, I can alter the settings of the monitor with the buttons on it though. I then restart my computer and the monitor displays an image after the restart. In AMD catalyst and windows, It detects both monitors at the right resolution and refresh rate. Even if I make the secondary monitor the primary one it still doesn't display any image.

System Specs:

OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit
GPU- AMD Radeon HD 7790
Monitor 1 - Dell E228WFP 1680x1050 60Hz
Monitor 2 - LG W2242 1680x1050 60Hz

Any help is really appreciated!

If things were working before and all of a sudden stopped, a few easy things to try:

1) Unplug cable from back of your computer and plug it back in.

2) Unplug power to your monitor and plug it back in (sounds odd, but it worked for me once as a last resort).

3) In Device Manager, disable/enable your monitor that's not workin. If that doesn't work, you can also try uninstalling and reinstalling latest drivers.

Come back if that doesn't help.

I already have done all of those things sadly. It still works it's just it doesn't work on initial boot, as the computer needs to be restarted before the monitor can actually display something.
