I am sure I have all the latest drivers installed (Omega 14.12), and my computer won't detect the second monitor.
The first one uses a VGA cable with a VGA/DVI-D adapter. It is detected.
The second one uses a DVI-I cable, and it isnt detected by neither port.
Can someone offer some advice? Both are the exact same monitors. I just happen to have two different cables.

Try swapping the dvi cables.
You amy also need to set the input source on the second monitor to dvi
Have you made sure the 2nd monitor actually is working by using the vga/dvi setup on it?

If that doesnt get you results we will need the make and model# of your monitors to see if the dvi ports on it are dvi-a only, which won't work with a dvi-d signal.

Ok i messed up. I meant the first one is in the VGA/DVI-I adapter. The second one is on the DVI-D entry.
The second monitor seems to be working, worked with a DVI-D/HDMI adapter i bought and with the other adapter i'm using. But i can't use both adapters as they are too big and the entries are right beside each other. The only way is to use the DVI-D cable only. But that seems to be the only problem. I tested the first monitor with the DVI-D cable and it also doesnt work.
The problem is clearly (to me) on the pc.
