Question second monitor will not find signal via dp or hdmi. Please help

My main monitor is connected by dvi port and works fine, but when connecting the second monitor either by hdmi or dp the second monitor will say no signal. I have tried using new cords, new monitors, and everything doesn't work. Any suggestions on how to fix this.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:

BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time? Please specify which ports on your build you're hooking the panels to(discrete GPU or motherboard panel).

This happened to me while I was gaming, it just lost connection. I unplugged all my cables (from the wall) and disconnected the power cable to the PSU and all the Cables from the monitors then plugged them back in and didn’t work at first but I had to keep turning my monitors on and off ( and the pc) and I eventually got it working. This is not a suitable/reliable method but just wanted to post about it. ( note I disconnected any external things that where plugged in. Like my Steering wheel. I didn’t unplug my mouse or keyboard but you can if you want)

I saw a video on this happening. Try going into your windows settings and enabling multiple displays or see if it even detects the second display.
