Hi all,

Today I have bought a kit of Corsair Ballistix Sport DDR4 at 2400MHz.
Unfortunately my motherboard only detect one of the 2 kits.
Here are my specs:
- MSI Z170A PC Mate
- Core i3-6100
- MSI GTX 1050ti
- Samsung 256GB SSD
- Seagate 1TB HD
- Corsair cx500 PSU

Is there anything I can do about it? I have reset the CMOS, updated BIOS to latest version, tried all slots (both single and all possible dual combinations). My motherboard just not detect it. Whenever I put in the second stick the LED on the motherboard indicates that there is a problem with the ram.

Do I have a defect stick, or is there anything else I can do to get it to work, so that I have the full 8GB instead of 4GB?

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure which kit Corsair does promote, but it is the Crucial Ballistix Sport BLS4G4D240FSA.

Do you need more additional information?
