I have one 512GB SSD in my system which is about 60% full and includes the operating system (Windows 10) and online games. It reaches a temp of 60deg when in use. I am concerned about the life of this drive. Would I be better off installing a second SSD and splitting the operating system and the games between the the two drives?

Solution
What make/model of drive?
Moving your games to a second one probably won't impact the temp.

But multiple drives, especially for Steam games, is trivial to do.

If I were in your case....I would buy second SSD and clone your main drive to an image file on the second SSD.

I would do a clone on a regular basis....maybe once a month,

This way...if your main drive fails you can always recover it.

I wouldn't attempt splitting anything between two drives.
