So after messing up my hdd with linux dual boots, i noticed an extra partition and i was wondering what it was. The unlabeled EFI partition is the real system volume according to diskpart. Any ideas on what this System partition is?

Partition 1 is called System but its not marked as System in brackets, meaning its title doesn't match a windows function. Its just named that.
Partition 2 is untitled and as you say, is the EFI partition and has System in brackets meaning its the place the PC boots from . As it should be
Partition 3 is C drive where windows lives
Partition 4 is Recovery

Its possible the "System" partition is just a renamed MSR, I don't have one so am not sure of its size. I wouldn't worry about it unless you want to use that 1gb its using.

Is the PC a custom made or Brand Name PC?

Some Brand name PC will have extra partitions created to store drivers and other applications that come with PC so if you do a factory reset it can reinstall everything that came with PC.

The default partitions created by Win 10 are:
Partition 1 - Recovery
Partition 2 - System - The EFI System partition that contains the NTLDR, HAL, Boot.txt, and other files that are needed to boot the system, such as drivers.
Partition 3 - MSR - The Microsoft Reserved (MSR) partition that reserves space on each disk drive for subsequent use by operating system software.
Partition 4 - Primary - Where Windows is to be installed to.

You have 3 of those, just missing the MSR bur its not essential. Fact you have 2 marked OEM makes me think PC is a brand name PC?

Yes its a toshiba, satellite, when exploring the partitions through linux i found a 4th windows partition which im assuming is the MSR you mentioned. Is it possible the partition was just named System and its just one of the 4 you mentioned?
