Secondary hard drive preventing boot

So my PC has a dual boot system (Win10 + Ubuntu) on two separate disks (SSD- Win 10, HDD- Ubuntu) with the HDD having multiple partitions (2 ntfs and a logical for ubuntu). So, recently while installing a software, my PC got stuck (even Taskmanager wasn't working) so I restarted (safely not hard reset). Now, windows 10 won't startup unless I unplug the HDD. But the HDD isn't corrupt because I have safely booted into Ubuntu but when I try to mount the ntfs drives, this error comes up:
"Error mounting /dev/sdb3 at /media/lubuntu/extra2: Command-line `mount -t "ntfs" -o "uhelper=udisks2,nodev,nosuid,uid=999,gid=999" "/dev/sdb3" "/media/lubuntu/extra2"' exited with non-zero exit status 13: ntfs_attr_pread_i: ntfs_pread failed: Input/output error
Failed to read NTFS $Bitmap: Input/output error
NTFS is either inconsistent, or there is a hardware fault, or it's a
SoftRAID/FakeRAID hardware. In the first case run chkdsk /f on Windows
then reboot into Windows twice. The usage of the /f parameter is very
important! If the device is a SoftRAID/FakeRAID then first activate
it and mount a different device under the /dev/mapper/ directory, (e.g.
/dev/mapper/nvidia_eahaabcc1). Please see the 'dmraid' documentation
for more details."
The windows 10 won't boot up when the HDD is plugged in. It's stuck on the logo screen with the rotating sign. I unplugged the HDD, booted into windows 10, tried safe mode but even that doesn't work. Please help
