I'm not gonna pretend to know what I'm doing, I've never found the need to look into my bios menu so enabling secure boot has me scratching my head. Just wanna know if my hardware is compatible, and if so how I might install custom firmware to enable secure boot.

  • Motherboard - C.B150M-D by Colorful Technology and Management (very obscure, i know)
  • Processor - Intel i5-6400
  • Graphics Card - Colorful GTX 950
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Show advanced and security as well, secure boot is a security feature after all.
Keep in mind that after changing this option any installed OS will probably not boot anymore, secure boot uses UEFI while legacy boot uses MBR and they are not compatible.

Here's what Security and Advanced show. All of the options in advanced reveal another menu but none of the settings looked relevant.

I'm guessing that I'll have to completely wipe my boot drive before turning on secure boot (if possible), and then reinstall windows 10?
