Question Secure Erase Samsung 980 M.2 SSD through Asrock B560M Pro4 BIOS ?

I'm trying to secure erase my ssd through the bios but it has the message of "no ssd found or none of the ssd supports secure erase" and under "nvme controller" lists my ssd. I can select it and a message says all data will be erased permanently. I'm not sure if this might brick my drive since it seems like it will erase my nvme controller?

I installed samsung magician but in the Secure Erase section the "Select USB" bar is empty. My usb is a sandisk cruzer glide which is detected in the program and in file explorer.
