If I am to format an ssd and then use bitlocker to encrypt the full ssd, not what's being used, and then format the drive again is this considered a secure enough way of wiping the drive to be repurposed?

Essentially the drive will have data, get quick formatted, then full drive encryption with bitlocker and then another quick format to repurpose, is this a secure way of doing this?

Secure Erase from the manufacturer.
Or, BitLocker/Veracrypt and then Secure Erase.

No need for all the formatting before and after.
Yeah I understand. I have received these with just a simple diskpart clean command, I have since started to use bitlocker to encrypt and then planning on doing another simple format rather than a secure erase.
