Question Seeking advice from ergonomic keyboard users

Hi there.

I'm looking for an ergonomic keyboard to help address a fairly specific problem: I'm finding that stretching the fingers on the edge of my hands while typing (both little fingers and the ring finger of my left hand) is putting too much strain on the relevant muscles, leading to hand cramp that makes me unable to type. Are there any ergonomic keyboard layouts that would help with this issue?

There are many options available.

Ergonomics are literally very subjective.

However, the starting point is to get medical advice.

Typing etc. may not be the real problem.

And the "wrong" keyboard could make things worse.

See your doctor.
