Seeking Help Securing Some Networking Equipment (And My Sanity, For That Matter!)

     Does anyone here know where I might find adjustable-width elastic cable security locks that fit around the device you're trying to lock a cable to? I need some to prevent my resident demagogue of a parent and network administrator from disconnecting some network I bought to reinforce his utter disdain and disregard for net neutrality with his own network, which I am currently still forced to use and is under a content filter that discriminates both against LGBTCQA+, furry, and transhumanist individuals and fiction and against night owls, after I manage to get into the room containing my family's cable hookup (t's locked since these kinds of opinions are decidedly not up to negotiation around here, but locks can, after all, be picked) and plug it in so I can finally be done with the madness it perpetuates.

Who pays the bills for this network? You? Your parent? If the answer is your parent (which I am betting it is) then this is not "securing" network equipment it is vandalizing it.

Yes, my parents, but I am 22 years old and pay rent, some of which goes toward the Internet bills. I think I should have some say in Internet policy around here, but I don't. If I had somewhere else to live, I'd bail, but I don't.

It would be if I could even begin to broach the subject with the other parties involved, but I've already reached an ideological impasse on that front, and not without a few tentative tries, either. I'm even hesitant to even start discussing why this is an issue with my cognitive-behavioral therapist, given that he has a personal background similar enough to that of my parents that I'm…quite hesitant to ask him to get involved with any of these domestic politics either, to put it mildly.
