I'm shopping for a portable security camera to use while traveling, for things like monitoring hotel rooms and AirBNB's. I'm not finding a lot of good options through internet search, all the products that come up tend to be cheap nanny cams. I'm looking for something more oriented towards securing my stuff from thieves while I'm away, not monitoring pets. Luggage space is limited, so it should be very compact. And I'm looking for good privacy features like removable battery, which none of the mainstream options have. Features I'm looking for include:

-very portable/compact
-battery powered
-motion sensor
-night vision
-removable battery
-sd card
-app for remote monitoring by phone

Anything out there that ticks all or most of these boxes?

As a security professional I would point out that cameras don't stop crime. If you are lucky, they might deter it. If you get a nice enough resolution and lens, you might be able to identify the perp. There are pages and pages of small recording devices of which can be hidden or designed covertly to look like something else. Even an old phone shouldn't be overlooked. In this situation your single most important aspect would be streaming it to somewhere remote and how that could be accomplished. Even a simple thing like internet availability to stream your recordings to. Local storage would be less than useless.

Not for nothing, but these new items like air tags can be quite useful in relation (not to recording a suspect) to locating the items you have concern about.

I read a lot of (bicycle) touring blogs online and one item I commonly see brought up is often known as a 'body safe' which is an undergarment where important paperwork and money can be stashed. Aside from that things like cables and locks to secure things. Consider post (office) stashing items ahead, alongside using the community to ship things ahead for yourself.

IDK it sounds like you're opening a can of worms talking about hotel rooms and AirBNBs. Technically these are private property and there are privacy rights and laws on video recording that apply staff and even to perps who might enter the property. You might want to consult a legal expert for the locations you're going to be using these devices. Also not sure why you're so concerned about removable batteries. And monitoring by phone implies using the site's wifi which may not be available. Perhaps if your stuff is that valuable you should leave it home or take it with you when you're out of your room or AirBNB.
