Seeking wireless adapter compatible with ASUS Micro ATX motherboard

I am adding a wireless adapter to my existing motherboard (Asus Z87M-PLUS Motherboard (1150 Socket, Micro ATX, Intel Z87, PCI-E). My NVIDIA graphics card takes up a lot of space (NVIDIA GTX 660...basically it covers up one of the PCIex1 slots). The available slots I have are a second PCIex1 and PCIex16 slot. I'm having trouble finding the right wireless card to fit. A challenge is that the available PCIex1 slot is right up against the graphics card fans. I'd love help!

you can put the wifi pcie x1 card in a x16 slot

The x16 slot is open? Just use that instead. x16 will fit x8, x4, x1 so any x1 wireless should work.
