Back then I used to imagine what a Homeworld 3 would be like, maybe a prequel telling the story of the Bentusi...

Let's hope this becomes a reality some day...

I at least feel much better with SEGA acquiring Relic when compared to others such as Activision or EA. Honestly, it was the only part of the sale that I was good with. I'm still wary over Koch acquiring Metro though.

+1 on the Homeworld 3 being given to the masses - loved that series although made by barking dog studios Cataclysm was by far my favorite expansion had so much playing online with that game.

Cannot wait for the new Aliens game. Now if Sega will get to work on Outrun 3, Jet Grind/Set Radio 3, Crazy Taxi 4, and maybe a new offline only Phantasy Star... we will be talking. Though really I just want a decent Puyo Puyo game with online.

"Sega's current PC library includes Aliens vs. Predator, Total War: Shogun, Space Siege, Medieval II: Total War, the upcoming Aliens: Colonial Marines from Gearbox and several more titles."

I like how PSO2 isn't mentioned as if it wasn't a popular and profitable game for SEGA.

Actually, I hope SoA drops the idea of bringing out PSO2 for the NA market. SoA has had a long history of screwing up every Phantasy Star title that hits the western markets. A representative of SoA has already stated that they will cut content and modify the exp gains, amongst other things. What's more, there is rumors that when the NA version of this game is released, there will be IP bans on JP PSO2 of all non-Japanese players.

Please SoA, don't release PSO2. Your Phantasy Star team is completely incompetent and will only screw over another PS title. You'll only lose money in the process too, as this game does not appeal to the western market with it's cartoon-style graphics and casual gameplay. Do us all a favor and just focus on games that actually appeal to your target demographics.

Yeah, I'm gonna get down-voted on this one.

I agree with you HUmar, SoA is going to F it up. They should spend there R&D money elsewhere. Not that its not a good series, but they come out in NA and just flop hard everytime (except the Dreamcast ones, but that was 10+ years ago).

Sorry but at the moment Sega do not own the Homeworld IP, this still belongs to THQ and will be auctioned in the near future.
