[SOLVED] Select all on an Ipod ?

Hi All

Apologies if this is in the wrong section....

I bought my daughter a 4th Generation Ipod for Christmas.

She wanted to read books on it so downloaded several Ebook reader apps...

She eventually figured out that the only way to get the free (out of copyright) books on it was to email them to the IPOD....

Which we did....

Then she opened the email and opened the attachment (Gone with the Wind) and wanted to save the attachment somewhere (no idea where) and she was told she needs to click on the first word of the book then SELECT ALL... BUT .. the only way to select all on an Ipod apparently is to click the first word then scroll down to last word.... BUT this book has 375 pages !! it would take a week to scroll down....

Could someone please help ???

I cannot believe that 70 people have read this, and presumably you are all Mac owners and noone knows how to do SELECT ALL on an Ipod ???

Hi Brett,

I'm not sure if you have tried to hold your finger down on the text, although i'm pretty sure that that will only select a paragraph at a time.

I'm sure the iBooks app would have that book available on it though it may cost a dollar or two. Gift cards can be used for iBooks purchases if you're hesitant on having credit card info associated with your Apple ID
