I just finished my new pc build and now im trying to install windows 7 from a usb but i keep getting stuck at select the driver to be installed. When i click on browse it shows local disk(C:0) and boot(X:). I have tried moving the usb to difference ports but nothing seems to be working. idk if this tells you anything but i bought the refurbished disk and made a iso image. thanks for the help.

Make sure you are installing Windows from a USB 2 port. Also there is no such thing as "refurbished Windows", if it's from an OEM system, that can be a big reason why it does not work, it may be configured to boot the OEM system only. And re-used OEM licenses are also not allowed to be re-used.

This is a fully legal example of an OEM Windows 7 disk http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832416804&cm_re=windows_7_oem-_-32-416-804-_-Product

If you buy some disk from an eBay vendor for a lot cheaper, they are playing games with the official license terms.
