selecting a better GPU

hey guys in hoping to upgrade my GPU, so i'm interested in the following

*High fps
*life-like characters in the game
*realistic effects in nature (everything should look like real)

currently im using a sapphire HD 7770 GHz OC edition and I couldn't experience the above features in it....so I thought of upgrading my gpu....
the following are my choices

Gigabyte GTX 770 windforce 2gb
AND
sapphire radeon R9 280X vapour-x edition

which one of the above gpu can fullfill the above mentioned features.....

note: I prefer gtx 770 since there is physx, cuda etc that renders realistic qualities but couldnt find like that on amd gpu's... whats your ideas on this??

if you can still find them the 78xx not the 7850 cards would be the better card for the money.

Ok ill suggest going for the 770 only of you play on 1 monitor in 1080p, the 280x has more memory so it should do better then the 770 in surround or in higher resolutions:

Edit: Post was not fully up sorry, I would go with the 770 is that has the features you want, they are about on par, but the 280x has gone too high in price due to mining demand.

with amd there doing there new game engine called mantel. the only game that will use it right now is bf4.
the 280x is the renamed 79xx line of gpus from amd. as your looking to drop a lot of cash on a newer gpu i hold off a few weeks as nvidia is slowing going to be dropping there newer maxwell gpus. the first one is the 750ti that dropping mid feb.
one thing amd and nvidia been doing that i hating is one will drop a high end gpu then the other will the next day. at lest with intel they try to do there big tic/toc drops in april. also no real new news when the newer amd gpu are dropping.
