Selecting a GPU for a specific MOBO

I need to find a GPU to upgrade my PC a little bit and also so it fits the components i already have.

MOBO: Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3
CPU: AMD FX 6300
PSU: 500W
my current GPU is gtx 750 ti

The case dimensions are: 23.11 x 39.88 x 45.21 cm
and i got a 6 pin pcie cable if that matters.

1050 ti but if your struggling to get higher FPS in your games then you'll want to consider upgrading the AMD Ryzen or Intel Coffeelake.

budget is the constraining factor, unless the budget is very high, in which case it is CPU performance and precisely what PSU you have. A 1050ti might be good a bet, but it will be limited by the CPU.

As an FYI, your motherboard is basically irrelevant when it comes to selecting a GPU, both in terms of performance and compatibility.

Well i realised i would have to upgrade the CPU as well i asked people but apparently there isnt any CPU i could upgrade to fit my MOBO which is Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 also i have a 500W PSU

It's really outdated so there's no CPU I would recommend putting into that socket, save for AMD Ryzen.

not really wanting to get another AMD CPu i think i'll just save up get a proper 2018 $4k pc that will last me for years ty tho

Dropping $4k on a PC is not smart, you can get 95%+ of the performance for 1.5-2, dropping the remainder of the 4k over the next 5 years in gpu upgrades will get you a longer lasting machine. Just get the foundation of cpu and mobo and treat the gpu as something to be upgraded.

And don't shut off amd, their modern cpus are as good as Intel in many respects. Total platform cost is slightly cheaper.
