Hey all. Firstly sorry for another of these posts. In my defence I have spent a day and a half trawling posts and following suggestions.

So the after some jiggery pokery and removing the mobo from the case everything seems to power up with one beep. The Hdd spins but doesn't post. Presumably as everything is getting power its not a mobo problem? Everything is new except the Cpu and Hdd which were both fine when I removed them from the old case. Totally stumped. Would it be wise to replace the Ram? I only used one stick as I have to wait for the other to come into stock. Could this be a problem with an i5 processor? Many thanks in advance.

Though Gigabyte specifies, “Enhanced Intel HD Graphics 2000/3000 integrated with the processor” on its web page, on the specification page it says, “Integrated Graphics Processor”.

They should be more specific and say this board depends on specific Intel cpus that have internal, on-chip graphic processor for graphic capability.

But maybe this would be too obvious and take the excitement and fun from this hobby. :)
