Sell 970 now or later?

So I have an Asus Strix 970 approx 6 months old. I would like to sell it and get a 1070 when they come out. Would I get a better return if I sold now? I would be without a good card until the 1070 but I fear that prices for used 970's would drop a lot once the new ones come out.
What do you guys think?

it still keeps the job done right? you are getting very high fps on amx settings.

Would be lucky to get $200 out of it already. Basically it has some value until the 1060ti comes out since it is the next step up from a GTX960/R9-380.

Pretty much resigned myself to having my 980s filter down through my friend and family members.

It's probably worth about $175 now. I don't think it will go much lower. It's worth $25 to use it until you get a new card.
