Sell or upgrade my computer??

Its is alienware x51 r2
gtx 645
i5 - 4440 3.10 Ghz CPU , 4 core, 4 logical processcors
8GB Ram

Your question is kind of vague. Let's say you were going to upgrade it. Why are you upgrading it? Are you a video editor, a musician, a gamer? What do you need this computer to do that it can't do now?

If you sold it, then what? Buy a new computer, buy a console, what's your plan for the money? If I knew what your goal was I'd have a better answer for you.

The processor should be fine for a few more years, and if your PSU is capable I would get a new GPU. What is your upgrade budget?

I am looking to upgrade it for gaming , nothing to serious but id like to be able to run things such as PUBG , GTA 5, Dark Souls, etc.. smoothly, would sell to just put towards new computer

Ifyou are planning to play GTA V and is getting a more powerful GPU, I would strongly recommend getting an extra 8gb stick. I have since upgraded my GPU and I experience stuttering to the point where the game is unplayable.

Agree with JV1V1D. get a new video card and extra ram stick if you can. might not seem significant but when i game my ram usage can go up to 9gb (i have 16gb)
