Alright, so I'm looking to sell my upcoming 'old' PC as I am currently gaining all of the parts to my new gaming PC that I am making.
This is the current set of information I have given two people (whom I work with, so my price adjustment may be generous):
"""Motherboard: Lenovo - Tilapia CRB Valued at: ~$55.99 (new) (Lowest price motherboard I could find online) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131795&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
Processor: AMD Athlon IIX2 255 (Dual Core, 3.1GHz, 2 MB L2 Cache) Valued at: $26.98 (new) http://www.amazon.com/AMD-Athlon-255-Processor-ADX255OCGMBOX/dp/B003XOV090
Hard Drive: WD 7200 RPM 500Gb Valued at: $70.00 (new) http://www.amazon.ca/WESTERN-DIGITAL-WD5000AAKX-Caviar-internal/dp/B00FZ6BQH0/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1423450383&sr=1-4&keywords=wd+500gb+internal+hard+drive
RAM: Samsung DDR3 2Gb and Kingston DDR3 4 Gb Valued at: $15.00(used) and $26.00(used) respectively http://www.amazon.com/M378b5673fh0-Ch9-Samsung-1333Mhz-Pc3-10600-Non-Ecc/dp/B00DUGFEH0 http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-1333MHz-PC3-10600-Non-ECC-KVR13N9S8/dp/B008CP5Q7M/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1423439168&sr=8-6&keywords=kingston+4gb+ram
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GT520 Valued at: $102 (new) http://www.amazon.ca/GeForce-Express-Mini-HDMI-Graphics-01G-P3-1526-KR/dp/B00549HZ7S/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1423439403&sr=1-3&keywords=geforce+gt+520
Windows 8 (I have windows 7 on this, but it is no longer sold on its own) Valued at: $120 http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/microsoft-windows-8-1-english/10272225.aspx?path=3b4a6fcdb9331376d76196a290cc23c2en02 (However, if you have someone to help you with it, you can get it for free, but most computers are sold with it pre-installed, upping the price)
Generic Case: ~$20 (Lowest price found online) Power Supply enough to support other parts: ~$30 (Lowest price found online) Generic Optical Drive (CD/DVD): ~$15 (Lowest price found online) Generic fan: ~$10 (Lowest price found online) [Optional] Assembly price: $50-$80
Total if building on your own: ~$470.00 Total if you got someone else to build it: ~$520.00 Total if you get windows for free: ~$350.00
My price: $200.00. Some of the prices I listed were used so i incorporated those, the other ones that were listed as new I halved, except for the things that do not receive wear and tear (like the case, CD/DVD drive, fan, etc.), and you would be getting windows for free if I can format the whole computer.
As a reference, here are some of the cheapest computers from FutureShop.ca

I linked you online stores for prices for the same or almost same part.
I will not deceive you, the computer is a bit loud at times, but for the most part it is silent. Most of the technical issues that I experience will most likely be resolved after I format the computer, as I probably have malware or too many files on my computer (this will not affect any of the hardware, so after everything is reset, it should work as it did when I first got it).
The computer is about 4 years old, however it is functional and I can still play games on it and it runs well (gaming would push the limits of the parts, so if you are only using it for office-related things, it would be able to handle it easily).
Also, I have had troubles with the CD/DVD drive but have ignored it because everything can be done through USB now, however, again, with a format I do believe it will begin working again because it is surely a software issue."""
My question is: Is the price I'm asking for fair? I understand that FutureShop is not the BEST place to reference, as I'm sure there are other places they could look, but they are inexperienced and would most likely go to shop there.
They are looking for something basic enough to watch YouTube videos, do office work, and browse the web with.
I tried to be as objective and honest as I could, trying to get the cheapest prices for the parts online and also factoring their 'used' condition.
All information is about 90% accurate, any error is just due to my ignorance.
If you have any suggestions let me know!
The $200 or so amount will definitely offset my costs in building this new computer, greatly that is.
Thank you for any input you have,
Will
