Exactly. To say we "only have to wait another year or two before supply normalizes" like its a good thing is ridiculous. What happens if the Epsilon covid variant emerges and we go into lockdown again in 6 months, and then the Zeta variant decides to show up in 12? 1 to 2 years is best case if no other variants of covid show up, which is highly unlikely at this point.
