I have a mini PC with an Atom processor and 2 GB of RAM. I've ordered a new motherboard and will go to a Quad processor and 4 GB RAM but am wondering if the AMD Sempron 3850 is good enough or if I should go for the Athlon 5250. It's just for surfing and movies on a USB. Someone said Sempron OK for 720P but would not use on 1080P.
Opinions? I can afford the Athlon but if I don't need it I get a kick out of upgrading cheaply.
