Why isn't anyone going after the judges in this case. One of the judges freely admitted they had issues with this but said they signed the FISA warrant anyway.

Our government is built on a system of checks and balances. This means everyone has a part to play to ensure that no one part of government becomes too powerful. I think we've witnessed the fact that the collective public apathy towards government is biting us in the a$$. Yes it's our fault this is happening, let's do something about it.

Go after the judges? How exactly? They can't be sued or prosecuted. These judges are appointed not elected.

Basically the only repurcusion these judges could face is being passed up for a higher level appointment by the President. Of course we can surmise that the president supports this kind of draconian intelegence gathering as he is the one who appoints the director of the NSA.

I'm constantly amazed at the people who live in country and don't understand how the laws work:

Senators... pfft ... more like leeches trying to milk the situation in their favor. Where were they BEFORE this atrocity became law?

Yeah exactly, they were voting FOR it; it was predicted to be major overreach and widely abused legislature but they said "it is for your safety".

And now they magically act pretend and scream "we did not know" and "this is terrible" -like they had no clue.

Just look at the "Patriot" Act voting list... mostly all politicians are lying scum that are abusing situations in their favor.

I have news for all reading this. These people violate our rights on a daily basis. I have no insider knowledge on the NSA but I do possess it on another organization which will remain nameless for obvious reasons. They are corrupt as possible and will look at your information at will if they want without ever asking any court or judge for a warrant. They like the NSA do this to family members, their wives specifically, their kids, you name it. It is an abomination of character but they do it anyway because why you ask? In my experience cops / or anyone that is fortune enough to serve the people. (i say fortunate because they have forgotten how lucky they are.) It is an honor to hold these offices and they have left their honor at the door. Our society is crumbling in a myriad of ways. Just like service isn't what it used to be in all sectors of our economy, the same reasons for this apply to the people tasked with our protection. Kids aren't taught honor/respect anymore. They are pushed through schools willy nilly and if you are a minority its even worse. (COMPREHEND WHAT I AM SAYING, before you assume this shows as a racist statement) The previous is a whole nother argument but if you wish I suggest you watch you tube big think (why some races outperform others). Title is misleading but you can get an understanding of the problems facing minorities. You basically get what you put into something and they are being allowed to put hardly anything in to be passed through school, however every race is being affected by our drive for this idea that everyone is equal even when it comes to academic performance. Everyone on the football team deserves to play, etc, etc. Compared to early 1980s and before you do not have to earn crap in this country any longer. This social ill is playing out on our national stage right now. There are ZERO consequences for these people, it is bred into our culture that this is so. I ask everyone to look into a mirror and ask yourself. Is it wise that we continue down this path of acceptance of less when the results of which will damn us all. I can't remember the exact figures from video however our kids spend an average of 10-20 min on homework and working with their studies in America. Japanese kids / many asian countries spend an average of 4 hours a day on theirs. This is a major issue. I hope you don't feel I have went off topic because what I am saying is the underlying reason for all of the issues we face today. Honor and respect has been lost because we no longer need it to get a job or better ourselves. Japanese kids when ask say they feel if they do not beat out the next kid in their academic performance they will not get a good job as an adult. American kids don't believe it will hinder them, its even worse for minorities. WE MUST stop accepting whats not even mediocre. If you think this is being to hard on kids then your the problem. There is balance in everything and no one is saying we must equal what other countries do to achieve the same results however I ask you. Who would have a better chance, the guys who practice 8 hours a day and 4 on the weekends or the team that practices 30 min a day and takes the weekend off? I think its obvious.
