I've got a laptop which I use a lot for school, I use the touchpad just as often as my wired mouse. The problem is the difference in cursor speed for each of those devices. If I set the right speed for my mouse, it's way too slow when I use the touchpad, and vice versa. Hence I have more calluses on my fingers than on my feet and i'm sick of that. :fou: I was wondering if there's a way to set different cursor speed for those two devices. I mean, in the settings menu I can choose a left- or right handed configuration separately for those two devices so I suppose the same should somehow be possible for cursor speed. Maybe by registry, or auto-change cursorspeed when the event of me connecting my mouse is logged or whatever. Anyway, your help would be apreciated greatly. Have a beautiful day.

I've found a program which does exactly it. It's called "Mouse speed switcher" which clarifies it's purpose quite well. It can store 10 different mouse profiles and each profile offers options to customize lines per scroll, sensitivity, etc. Profiles are autoagically switched when you plugin or move a different mouse. It works flawlessly i must say. It costs only 11euro ($12), i'd recommend it to every laptop owner.
