Seperating a fan with sticky pads.

Ive had this issue with my Watercooler where one of the fans to it rubs the cooler itsself causing an awful grinding noise, this only happens when the fan is turned up to high RPM. Ive had a thought of using sticky pads "used for crafting" as a way to seperate the fan from the radiator itself, and create room. Would this work? or could it be a risk of something going wrong? a last resort is replacing the entire unit. Which is something the store might do.

I don’t see why not. You could also use nylon washers.

Unfortunitly i dont have access to any type of washers at this point, but as my mother is a crafter have plenty of sticky pads haha, i will see if i can pickup some washers as well. But if the pads will do for a temporary fix then im happy with that.

check the blade is one of them is not curved more then the others or broke and touch the fan holder side .
