Server Build for Small Business

Hi, I'd like to revamp this thread from 2017 with hardware for 2021. I use Eaglesoft and will have 8 workstations. Eaglesoft recommends Xeon 6th generation or higher and at least 8MB Ram as a minimum but with 8 workstations, I figure I should not build to the minimum recommendations. Does anyone have some "bang for the buck" components to run a quiet and energy efficient server that will be a little bit of overkill to these requirements so I will not have to upgrade for a while.
