I am new to the networking department... so i have a few questions about connecting the Raid array to the server

The Raid Arrays have a SCSI IN and SCSI OUT port. Do I connect each port to the server?

The User manual only talks about Single Ended Host Configuration which is just the SCSI OUT port connected with the SCSI IN terminated. I do not think I want single ended host system right? I want to be able to retrieve and store information on the Array.

In and Out mean you can daisy chain the RAID device to another SCSI device. If you only wish to use the RAID device, simply use the SCSI in and terminate the SCSI out (a little plug that just covers the SCSI out connection)

Thanx.

Also I have a top board and bottom board. Would I just connect to the bottom board SCSI IN and terminate the other 3, or would I connect to both SCSI IN of the top and bottom board and terminate the other 2?

without knowing what the specs are on the actual device I can't really answer that question. Can you post a link to it?
