I will try to swap the drive into a friend's system to try to pull important things off of the drive.

Well Richard Campbell just passed galanz for top spot on the team in the past 2 days or so...

Some day I'll be rich and famous for inventing a device that allows you to stab people in the face over the internet.

Its going to take a long time to catch up to him. I just wish I knew the password to my old Seti account so I could have brought over the 7298 wu I had already processed.

That'd have been nice. I can't access my account either due to email issues. Ah well. Just keep pluggin' away I guess.

I went to the site and it seems to have skipped over me. Here are my current stats:

I'm currently in 35th place in the stats page on the Seti site. Been putting these things out at a rate of 4/day (apprx). Would like to use the updated version of SetiSpy to get the stats from your site since it's more meaningful than the generic stats page @ Seti.

Looks like I'll be the only one to reach 1000 WU's before I reach 1 year of CPU time. That's good, right?

Thanx,

GearJammer

Yes that is good, but I think I reached 1000 wu's before hitting one year of CPU time. If I remember correctly I was at 1600-1700 wu when I hit the one year period. Keep pluggin away.

My computer is still down. I don't have any money to repair it. I should be getting a new job soon.

Yeah, I got to about 1600 wu before I hit a year of cpu time too.

Sweet. I just got up to 21st a little while ago. It'll be a while until I reach 20 though.

I just moved into 58th place....I know I'm a long way down there, but I'm coming. I just got my second computer up and running with seti. It is a Intel Xeon 2.0 Ghz machine. It can crunch some serious wu'age! I am having a blast!

I've only got my 1.65 GHz Athlon running it dedicated right now. I have my mom's 1 GHz Tbird on it occasionally, but not very often at all.

It's pretty fast...not as fast as I thought it would be, but fast. I use the command line client with setigate on all my machnes. It crunch, on average, 1 wu every 3.2 hours. I think that it would be faster if I had more cache memory. Right now I only have 512 kb L2.

I've been following your stats lately killian. I can't believe how many wu/day you've been putting out. My spreadsheet says that you've been maintaining 40 wu/day!!! What are you running. Right now I've only got up my 1.4 Ghz Tbird, and that 2 Ghz Xeon. I'll be adding a 850 Duron and a 450 K62 in the next month or so (just need the right parts...pci video card is kinda hard to find).

I'm actually running 8 machines. Here they are:
XP2100+ Avg CPU Time:3h19m
XP1900+ Avg CPU Time:3h39m
XP1600+ Avg CPU Time:3h48m
XP1600+ Avg CPU Time:3h49m
T-Bird 1.4Ghz Avg CPU Time:4h49m
T-Bird 1.4Ghz Avg CPU Time:5h25m
PIII 866Mhz Avg CPU Time:8h37m
PIII 600Mhz Laptop Avg CPU Time:8h44m

I just sold my Duron 1 Ghz. I'm susprise my average has stayed around 40/day since the Duron was doing 4-5 wu/day. Does your spreadsheet run on a script and automatically collect data or do you manually input it? I'd like to see it and check out what all the members are doing.

Setigate automatically makes the spreadsheet. It keeps track of all the stats from the THG team. The benifit of it is that it has more stats, and it pdates them from the day you specify. For instance, your wu/day average may have been low a year ago, but its hi now. The spreadsheet, would ignore anything begore the day you started it at so you get a better picture of what people are doing now. I like it better than Seti's stat page for THG.

My 1650 MHz Athlon does a unit in about 3.3 hrs...

Really? That's cool. Any idea what my wu/day is? I'm gonna guess it's somewhere in the 5-7 range...

sounds good....i'm the one who made the original stat page. my 1750 units have been sitting on team baitshop for awhile now, but if you can get the stat page updated regularly i'll consider moving them back over.

hell, half the reason i made the original spreadsheet was to see if i could do it, but it was too complicated and took too much time. still, if you have any questions about how it works, i might rememeber! hehe

i even have you two (micheal and hammy) on icq still

Is this thing not gonna happen or what? I'd help, but I know nothing of how to do it.

I too once had money, then I got into computers...
