Hello, I have an NVIDIA graphics card. So I go into the NVIDIA Control Panel, and go to "Adjust desktop color settings", and I slide the gamma slider up and it shows the gamma I set it for for one second, and resets back to normal color. The "Use NVIDIA settings" is bubbled by the way. This is a very random question, but I really need help with this my games so dark...

Another user commented on a Youtube video. He has the same issue as me, unfortunately its a dead video and nobody could help us. Here's what he said here:

"When I change the gamma, it works for few seconds and then it revert back to the original. It's driving me crazy"

Solution
For better help give:

1) CPU
2) Graphics Card
3) Windows version
4) monitor
and
5) explain more clearly WHERE the problem occurs and HOW it presents itself

Other quick troubleshooting:
*Attach monitor to a different PC and see if you have the same problem, or attach a different monitor to the SAME PC and see what happens.

You cant increase gamma in the monitor itself can you? If so, what's the setting called? :??:

On my monitor it's labeled "Gamma" and it's in my color settings, though it only gives me the choice of PC or MAC.

There are other settings related to color, contrast etc that may help you achieve what you're trying to do but it's hard to help without being there.

It sounds like an incorrect setting such as brightness.

Is this a NEW monitor?
If not, have you always had this problem?
If not, what changed? (i.e. does it appear to be SOFTWARE related?)

Also, are normal MOVIES okay?
Desktop okay?

You could try reinstalling the NVidia drivers if you think it somehow messed your settings up.

*Get the latest driver then when installing choose "custom" then "clean" to install the drivers so it resets anything it may have changed before.
