setting multiple monitor

hello everyone this is my first post on this website...i want to buy two crt monitors(17") and one lcd(24") ..i will be using monitors for running applications like word,excel surfing web etc...and the lcd for playing games...i will be using windows 7..some one please guide me through setup

i went through other questions but not able to understand what they are talking about dvi,crossfire etc

two crt monitors(17") - you want to kill you eyes ot something

Take LCD and forget for CRT !
The other thing you need is modern VGA Card with 3 or more outputs - VGA , DVI , HDMI
For example : you take 3 x LCD monitors that have VGA or DVI input and any VGA with 1 x VGA 2 x DVI will do work + some adapters
Any setup further will improve the performance
- more than 1 VGA - they can be connected in SLI or CROSSFIRE for better 3D performance or they can act like next monitor setup
- you can have up to 6-7 vga
- up to 6 monitors per VGA - specific HW needed
- you can check AMD Eyefinity for details
It complicated and huge info to ask for guide !

but i want to do gaming (quality gaming) on LCD so i probably need a seperate graphic card for that ...correct me if i am wrong

If you like quality gaming you need quality system
- CPU or 2x CPU
- VGA or 2 x VGA or 3 x VGA or 4 x VGA
- RAM 2 - 3 - 4 channel
- HDD SATA 2 - 3 , RAID 0 , SSD
You can post you budget and the games you want to play that will be a start

my friend you took me wrong i just wanted to know what typeof setup i would need from graphic card side..so that the card is sufficient for playing need for speed gta versions unreal tournament call of duty counter strike type of games...actually i have never played so much games but now m getting interested also i need to setup to extramonitors because of college work..i think i am confused how to explain you what i really want
