Hi all,
I have a laptop set up with an external monitor. I currently have it configured through Windows, therefore the screen remains off (in save power mode) until Windows is loaded. With this setup, if I want to get into the boot menu, bios, etc, I have to open the laptop and use the laptop screen.
I've recently installed Ubuntu on an external HDD, and I'd like for the boot options to be displayed on the external laptop so that I can both choose which OS I want to load, and to get Ubuntu to display on the external monitor. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
