For those using the iCUE software macro editor:

I'm considering purchasing the M55 RGB PRO Ambidextrous Multi-Grip Gaming Mouse and have a couple of questions. First, I'd like to know if this mouse is programmable for macros, and if it can execute a script like the one below without requiring the 'Release Key: 1' command:

Is it possible to create this script using the iCUE macro editor without the 'Release Key: 1'?
  1. Press CTRL with a 0ms delay.
  2. Press Key: 1 with a 0ms delay.
  3. Press Key: 2 with a 32ms delay.
  4. Press Key: 3 with a 32ms delay.
  5. Release Key: 2 with a 64ms delay.
  6. Release Key: 3 with a 64ms delay.
  7. Release CTRL with a 0ms delay.
Is it feasible to implement this script using the iCUE macro editor?

As I understand the following link the M55 supports iCUE macros.

https://www.corsair.com/pt/en/p/gam...rous-multi-grip-gaming-mouse-eu-ch-9308011-eu

= = = =

Do not know, full disclosure, if it is feasible to implement such a script or not.

What is the objective or requirement driving "without the Release Key:1" and the overall script itself?

What have you tried thus far?

Show some work/macros to provide more information about the envisioned macros.

Focus on just Steps 1, 2, and 3. Get those steps to work and then use those steps as a template for the remaining key presses and releases.

Details matter.

As I said in the details, I do not have a Corsair mouse or iCue yet. That's why I am gathering information to see if this kind of script is possible on iCue. If it is, then I can buy the mouse.

Fair enough.

Just visit the website(s) and applicable links within.

Plus do some additional googling using words such as "iCue script tutorial" etc. Revise the search criteria based on what you find and learn.

For example:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/...nJVoaO-2ygn2sogEw/edit#heading=h.220h42nhsmyr

https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/a...ou can also use iCUE,when iCUE is not running.

I also found a number of YouTube links - google accordingly.

Include "productivity" in the search criteria. Appears to be a bit of a buzz word there.

Key is to carefully read whatever documentation you can find. Pay attention to what is said as well as what is not said.....

You did not provide a script.

You provided a list of actions to be taken and need the applicable script (iCUE or otherwise) to carry out those actions.

And more explanation is needed regarding "without the 'Release Key: 1". Why? What is driving that requirement?

Download the iCUE software and work through the process of creating some scripts. Even though you may not be necessarily be able to test the script.

Start simple with just two or three actions.

I found quite a number of online tutorials.

Google "How to create an iCUE script". Revise the search criteria as you read, test, and learn.

You may be able to gain some additional understanding about creating iCUE scripts and implementing them regarding the M55 mouse.

Objective being for you to learn more about how scripts are created and what can (and cannot) be done within those scripts.

It will be much more helpful to you and anyone assisting to see what you have done and tried.

Sort of a baseline to work from.

Also found the following link.....

https://forum.corsair.com/forums/topic/186844-setting-up-a-complex-macro-script-for-icue/

Posting elsewhere is fine. However, it would be to your benefit, no matter where you post, to show some work.

However, that is up to the Corsair community (or any other community) to decide.

I need a good macro software and device that can avoid releasing 1, so I can execute a perfect combo skill in the classic game I am playing right now. It's weird, but that's how the macro sequence works in that game.

I'm not sure if you understand my situation. As I mentioned, I am still considering buying Corsair products, which means I don't have any devices yet to use Corsair's macro software. How can I try using iCUE if I don't have the device yet? Make sense right? That's why I'm asking if my script or keystroke sequence is possible on iCUE.

I am looking for a specific answer, but your responses are going off-topic, asking me to research. It's common sense that I wouldn't be asking this question if I had already searched the internet, which I already did and found nothing specific. That's why I am seeking answers from the community. I am free to ask any other community for a question, so please don't try to humiliate me if I tried to ask on another forum. We have the freedom of expression to exercise. I am not lazy or unintelligent; I am just trying to gather information.

If I had found the answer already, then I wouldn't be here.

My point is that I'm trying to find someone who will answer my question specifically and precisely, not someone who just says anything to respond to this thread. It's challenging with people nowadays, just because you ask doesn't mean you haven't done any research. That's not how it works. I hope you understand that not everyone thinks the same way as you.

Ahhh....

"I need a good macro software and device that can avoid releasing 1, so I can execute a perfect combo skill in the classic game I am playing".

In that context, it is more ikely that a specific answer will need to come from the Gaming community.

Moving post from Apps and Sofware to PC Gaming.
