Setting up a third monitor

As it turns out I need to use a displayport to plug a third monitor (or it will just duplicate one of the other two) but none of the monitors have a displayport on them. Can I use a cable with DVI on one end and a displayport on the other? Thanks!

Sorry, forgot to mention. It's r9 270x. It's got one displayport.
