I just got my first laptop. Not using it for gaming. But its a Lenovo idea pad 3. It comes with windows 11 pro I believe.
Before setting up my laptop, whats the best way to be as private as possible when setting up windows. I know u can go to settings and turn off those settings. But I think they will still collect something.
And uninstalling any bloatware etc.
I guess when u first start your laptop its going to ask to set up an account. I want to avoid that.
Any suggestions or a good youtube video link would be great as well.
I don't want to go all out using certain programs that I could mess up my laptop.

Thanks

On first start, you NEED to set up an account.
This activates the OS license.

After that, you create s Local accounts.
1 Admin user, and 1 Standard user

You do NOT have to use the original MS account to use the system.

As you go through the setup, turn off any location options.

That is all.
