I recently got a new SSD that I want to set up for boot, and a few of my games. I can't get Acronis True Image HD for free for some reason I can't explain. And I am not sure how to do it to set it up. I don't have an extra HDD to back up my current one neither. I really need help.

Okay well for started setting up a SSD boot is amazing, and a good choice, I do NOT recommend it for games though as it will have no noticeable impact on performance.

For the SSD I reccommend around a 32gb or 60gb and this will be specifically dedicated to your boot ensuring boot times of 3-15 seconds after post. Install your new SSD into your computer, Put it into a sata port 0. Disconnect your harddrive for the time being, and insert your Operating system CD into the computer now bot up and install your OS onto the SSD as if it were a new computer. after it has been installed, turn off your PC and recconect your harddrive to "SATA 1" and the SSD to "SATA 0", in the bios change boot priority to always boot from the SSD, After your computer is up and running you need to remove the old operating system from your HDD, ONly use your SSD for Antivirus, Program Files, and Drivers/updates. The HDD should be used for any other applications such as games. After all of this is done you will boot back up your computer, it will boot from the SSD leading to what looks to be a fresh computer install. Open computer and make sure the SSD is C:, if not rename it to C: and the HDD to D:, from there you will be able to access all of your files and games on D(HDD) while still having the SSD handling any system information and shutdowns/bootups.

I personally have a SSD boot drive and my hard drive I reformatted and partitioned into separate categories for games, Movies... Ect
Sometimes it may be best to reformat your HDD after you have your SSD as priority, it helps even though you lose information you can even try getting a larger SSD and Transferring your important information over to it, then reformat your HDD and move said files/folders back to the HDD.

Or, Easus Todo, Macrium Reflect, Casper.

Thanks for the help, WHAT Exactly do I do in Easus? And bailiojustin, Can you be more specific? Like a step by step instructions on how do things such as remove windows from HDD? And I DON'T want my Temp, APPDATA, and files like that kill SSDs all the file changes. And will that load all my current stuff into Control Panel programs? I want to put my games on my SSD cause the games I play have ridiculous loading times that i'd like to clear up with an SSD.

And I DON'T want my Temp, APPDATA, and files like that kill SSDs all the file changes.

With current consumer grade SSD's, that is no longer a consideration. Seriously.
Don't stress about too many writes killing the drive.

Current drives have been tested to last beyond 600TB, or even 1petabyte, of total writes before fail.
This would require you to write several hundred GB per day, every day, for years.

Ok, great ! So how can I get this show on the road. Easeus won't clone drives cause I have 500GB on my TB Drive and it wont move to my SSD. So I need a clean install, please give step by step instructions. MUCH APPRECIATED!

You have the license key and install media?

So then you have the OS running on the SSD.
Make sure it actually boots with only the SSD connected.
Run all the current updates for your OS.
Install whatever applications and games you want on it.

After, reconnect the HDD and delete all partitions.
Use that old drive for whatever. Other games, music, video, whatever.

Well, yes. As said, you need to reinstall all your applications
Now....by 'data', what are you referring to, exactly?

Music/Docs/Video? You really need to move those to some other drive, and then wipe the original HDD. After, you can move them back.
It is MUCH easier to move anything you want to keep to somewhere else and wipe that drive totally, rather than trying to find only 'Windows' and remove that.
Because there isn't 'only Windows'.

"Back up all of your documents and data.
-Re-install windows on the SSD (delete/create the partition and quick format)
-Re-install all drivers
-Wipe the HDD (delete/create partition and quick format)
-Re-install all applications and software, but when it asks for the destination folder, Specify The HDD.
-Recover your data files to the HDD." -2x4B
