Setting up two LAN connections

I have a laptop that connections to a wired connection that uses a proxy connection to connect to the internet. While not connected to the wired network (on wifi at home) it still wants to use the proxy settings to connect to the internet. Is there a way to set this up so I would not have to change the proxy settings each time it connects the two connections?

The proxy settings are turned on in I.E. so you need to turn it off each time. There is a little program you can get to have a button on the I.E. toolbar for this. Proxy Pal http://www.bartdart.com/

Don't know, only used it for I.E. Firefox may have it's own version of this utility though.

I did find an add-on in Firefox (QuickProxy) that works the same way. Thank you
