Question Setting up Windows Easy Transfer-error message -says I'm using temporary profile.

Yes, I delayed in copying my Win7 files with Windows Easy Transfer, to copy them to a new Win 10 machine. Now I'm ready. I have an external drive w/ migwiz on it. But when I go to Start and click on Windows Easy Transfer,. I get an error message that it can't run Easy Transfer because I'm logged on using a temporary profile. It says to close down and restart. I did that, but I get the same message. And I have no idea why it thinks I'm using a temp profile.

Win7 tells you at log in if your profile is corrupt and it puts you on a temp profile.
Fixing your profile isn't easy.

Do you have another Admin profile on this PC?
