Hello,
So today I just bought ASROCK B550M STEEL LEGEND.
And my memories are XPG Spectrix D50 3200mhz 2x16gb.
Apparently in BIOS it only runs 2666mhz, when I load the XMP profile and restart, the PC is crashing 2 times and then boot, when I enter BIOS again, the memories still at 2666mhz.
I asked in the Motherboards section because I was using ROG Strix B350-F Gaming before and my memories run at 3200mhz with no problems at all.

Any idea why? And how can I resolve this?
Thank you so much.

My PC:
MB: ASROCK B550M STEEL LEGEND
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
RAM: 2X16GB XPG Spectrix D50 3200mhz
PSU: be quiet! System power 9 600w
GPU: RX 6600 XT

Apparently in BIOS it only runs 2666mhz, when I load the XMP profile and restart, the PC is crashing 2 times and then boot, when I enter BIOS again, the memories still at 2666mhz.
Any idea why? And how can I resolve this?
What slots do you have ram modules installed in?
Did you consult motherboard user manual for optimal module placement?
Can you show a photo of your system with side panel removed?

It's in A1 and B1.
Now that you mention the manual, I looked at asrock's website and found this

So I think I should place the RAM in A2 and B2?
I am at work right now, so I will do it later.
But now I wonder, if I place another 2 DIMM, so it will fully take 4 slots of RAM, will it runs at 3200mhz or max 2666mhz?

Thank you!

Exactly.

Probably will be limited to 2666mhz.

You have to look at XMP profile settings for your modules.
They may be using elevated DDR voltages. For DDR4 max recommended DDR voltage is 1.35v.
XPG Spectrix D50 in XMP mode use 1.35v - 1.5v.

Alright!
Thank you so much!

That is a bit sad, my previous motherboard runs it 3200mhz with all slots filled.

Yes, the settings are 3200mhz with 1.35v (when I load the setting).
The voltage is working tho, only the speed was not working.

Alright, I will try it later after get home.
Thank you so much!

I can't find clickable trophy icon.
The only trophy icon I can find is below profiles.
