I accidentally spilled some water on my laptop (dell inspiron n5030) and when I tried to turn it on later, it wouldn't work and show error message "hard drive disk not detected". I reseated the hard drive (took it out and put it back in) and everything seems to work fine now, just that there are no wireless drivers anymore. In device manager under "Network adapters" it only shows ethernet controller. I downloaded "Dell Wireless WLAN 1501 Half Mini-Card (4313bgn) Driver" from the dell website and it is supposed to be compatible with my laptop and system(Windows 7 32-bit), but when I try to install it, a setup error message comes up saying "no compatible hardware found. The software you are attempting to install is not supported on this system". I also checked, wireless is enabled in the BIOS and the automatic wireless button on the keyboard (F2) is on. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Is it possible that something got damaged inside of the computer when the water got spilled and that's why I can't install it? I'm not very good with computers so any help would be very much appreciated.

I entered my service tag and there is an option "analyze now", is that the one that you mean? I don't think I see any automatic detection button. Also is it posible to do this from another computer or do I have to connect mine to the internet with a cable and then do it?

Tried doing that, no errors showed up. Also tried a network card diagnostic scan on dell's website, no errors were found either. But I still can't install the drivers anyway. I tried installing some other wireless drivers, that I found on my computer, but I get another message saying "Dell Wireless Adapter Not Found. The Device may not be present or could have been ejected/unplugged". But the wireless card is inside the computer, I can't understand what the problem might be. Should I just try changing teh wireless card?
