Severe FPS lag with High-End Specs

So I recently built a brand new computer (specs below) and, as you can probably tell, should be getting 60+ fps on most games. However, with EVERY game (even ones that aren't demanding like World of Warcraft) it suffers from severe frame-rate drops. I'm finally asking the internet myself because I have WoW running right now and it is reduced to 17 FPS on High, which isn't even the highest setting.

It isn't an overheating issue according to Asus' AI Suite which says the CPU temp. is at a solid 29 C.

Specs:

Intel i5 4670K
2 4GB DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760
ASUS MB 297-A Model
550W Bronze PSU
There are also 4 chassis fans being controlled by a fan controller.

I am not using the stock fan that came with the CPU.

This really has me stumped and after reading through forum after forum I've finally decided to post my own. Hope to hear back soon!

That temperature sounds like idle.

Install msi afterburner, and monitor cpu/gpu temps WHILE gaming.

Post back with the max temps of your cpu and gpu.

Also please post back with the full name make and model of your power supply.

After downloading Afterburner I found out that my GPU was hitting 64C max and my CPU was hitting around 34C max.
I also followed the instructions from the link provided by Pr3di and everything seems to be working fine (~70 FPS on highest settings), so for now I'm going to chalk this one up as bad drivers(?). Never really heard of drivers screwing things up this bad but I could be wrong. I'm going to try some more demanding games then post back.

I was also wrong when I said 550W its only 500W
