windows 11

Just finished this build and used my m.2 ssd with windows 10 from my old pc. started up just fine first go but when i started installing drivers it became incredibly laggy. (choppy mouse movement, stuttering with basic programs like chrome and other software). started with making sure all drivers were up to date and even updated bios to latest version and reluctantly upgraded to windows 11, after a few hrs of t\s I discovered that the nvidia driver was actually causing all of this. games still run slow obviously since i currently have no gpu driver but it is actually running better than having the driver installed (15 fps vs 5 on snowrunner!) Ive gone thru about 3 older nvidia driver versions and im still having this issue! im not sure what is happening specifically so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Reinstall the OS, after recreating your bootable USB installer, installing the OS in offline mode. After your OS install is complete, manually install all drivers for your platform in an elevated command.

Make sure you're on the latest BIOS version for your motherboard.
