The message in The Image indicates that the Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. In this case, running the "dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth" command could potentially help resolve the issue.

The DISM (Deployment Image Servicing and Management) tool is designed to repair the Windows image and restore its health. By using the "/restorehealth" parameter, DISM attempts to download the correct versions of corrupted or missing system files from Windows Update to replace the problematic files.

Running the command is generally safe and can often fix common system file corruption issues. However, in some cases, DISM may not be able to complete the repair process. If that happens, it shouldn't cause any additional damage to your system.

If DISM is unable to complete the repair, you can try the following steps:

  1. Run the "sfc /scannow" command again: Sometimes, running the System File Checker (SFC) scan multiple times can help in fixing the corrupted files.
  2. Check the CBS log file: As mentioned in the error message, you can locate the CBS log file at "windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log" (e.g., C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log). Analyzing the log file may provide more specific information about the corrupt files and potential solutions.
  3. Perform a repair installation or system restore: If the issue persists, you might consider performing a repair installation of Windows or using a system restore point to revert your system back to a previous state where the files were not corrupted.
