Currently using two SSD's, one for Windows and files, other one for games and recording/livestreaming. Wanna replace the second SSD with a 1TB HDD and give the SSD to my sister. I'm afraid that the HDD would cause frame skips. Had previous experiences where the recordings were on my main SSD with Windows and files which caused major frame skipping, but I reinstalled them on the second SSD with games on it and it solved the issues, so I'm worried that with the HDD replacement the issues with frame skipping will appear again
Specs:
GTX 960 2GB (Upgrading this week to RX 590) 8GB
Ryzen 1700
2x8GB 3000MHz

You should be okay recording to the HDD, the main reason you saw issues was because you recorded to the drive you were using, which causes issues.
Recording to a different drive should fix that issue (which you saw).

Thank you, feeling relieved! Games are like 100+GB nowadays... I definitely need a HDD for it, music too!
