So I know I'm not the first to report this, but I know that I've also not found a single fix on any forum where this topic has been raised.

I am tired of always missing that ace on Siege, or that hilarious moment in Rocket League, or that raid defence on Rust.

On some games, Shadowplay works just fine, I hit my hotkey and the clip is saved, hoorah. But on the majority of my games, such as R6 Siege, Instant Replay is automatically turned off. It's never until AFTER I do something clip-worthy that I realise (when the hotkey does nothing) and have to manually turn Instant Replay on.

I have checked I have the most recent drivers for geforce, and I'm really against constantly uninstalling geforce and re-installing it every time this happens.

Does anyone have a solid solution to this all too common issue? If not any suggestions for alternate clipping methods is also appreciated. I sometimes use the replay buffer in OBS but again I'm always too lazy to open a piece of software before I start playing 'just in case' something cool happens.

Kind Regards as always.

hi, if your game runs in exclusive fullscreen, shadowplay should work just fine
if your game runs in windowed or borderless fullscreen, shadowplay will not work with default settings

to be able to capture anything (games included in any mode) u have to do small change in shadowplay settings
open shadowplay overlay and click on settings, scroll down in context menu and select privacy control, enable desktop capture

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

I play all games in full screen mode. I checked Shadowplay settings in the overlay like you mentioned but couldn't see anything relating to privacy control - but then this may not be applicable anyway since I play exclusively in full screen mode.

Thanks for your tips.
