Hi all -- new here. I can't seem to find a solution to my problem anywhere so I'm turning to you guys for some help.
Here is my setup:
3 PCs (2 notebooks, 1 workstation) controlled with 4 port KVM with 2 port USB 2.0 hub.
Each computer has it's own dedicated monitor.... so not using any of the video connections in KVM.
All 3 computers are in the same room.
I only want to use USB 3.0.
My Challenge: How do I use the same keyboard/mouse to control all three computers while having access to the same USB 3.0 hub?
My USB 3.0 hub will have backup devices, 2 HD webcams, and ideally my keyboard / mouse.
I feel as if I don't need a KVM anymore since I'm not using the video function. Am I missing USB 3.0 switches? Do these even exist?
What solutions are there to be able to share a USB 3.0 hub?
