Question Shared computers faster than mine?

Hi, I am sorry if this is a stupid question or already discussed.

I am using Anydesk to operate 1 pc from a laptop and smartphone. The Pc is faster, the software needs a faster processor - that's why I can't install it on the laptop or smartphone (for example). So I thought - are there open, free computers in libraries for example in the US or elsewhere, which I can use from here remotely. I tried to find such a free network. Maybe it's a stupid idea?

Not stupid - I would use the word 'impractical".

Security considerations being a major concern to start with.

Difficult enough as it is to simply protect library computers from local misuse/hacking etc..

Adding/allowing remote access from "anywhere" will make it all worse.

Just my thoughts on the matter.
